Delicious full English breakfast, the highlight of my stay.
My stay was marred by a slightly musty smell in the room and the frustratingly positioned shower head. for a place that touts exceptional service, I wasn't greeted with the warmth I expected. the tea and biscuits served at arrival felt rather lackluster rather than welcoming.

Waking up to stunning views of sheep and lambs in the fields was a delightful start to the day. The hospitality from Di and Dave truly made us feel at home.
The only hiccup was that the shower head was not adjustable and faced sideways, making it a bit awkward for rinsing off properly.

great hospitality but some room details need attention
Di and Dave were exceptional hosts, making us feel welcome right away. The full English breakfast was delightful, with fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked sausages. The views from our room of the serene river and the surrounding landscape were simply breathtaking.
The only issue was a slight musty smell in the room, which detracted from the overall comfort.

Couples ideal getaway
The couple that runs this place, they made us feel at home right away! We sat on our balcony with tea, enjoying the lovely river views and those sheep up on the hill, it was surreal.
It wasn’t pricey but worth every penny!
